About the Artist

Karmelita, or “Karma” for short, is a professional dancer and performer of sorts residing in Atlanta, Georgia. Among other things, she is known for her theatrically humorous nuances and faces in her shows.

Since she could hold a pencil, Karma loved to sketch and draw, so it was inevitable that one day these two characteristics would meet. Due to the wonderful response to her first belly dance related comic, Karma plans to continue making humorous art for dancers!
