The 68 images displayed on this page are available to you to use in your newsletters, web sites, flyers, or other places where you need dance-related artwork. You are free to use these as you wish as long as you do not sell or re-sell them. This permission does not extend to pictures that appear on other parts of this web site--only the ones here on this page! The images below are thumbnails. That means they are reduced in size to make this page load as fast as possible for you. To download the full-sized version that's big enough to be useful: Click on the picture you want. A full-sized copy of it will display in your browser. Then follow your browser's standard procedure for saving a picture. Not sure how to do that? Click here for instructions. Me'ira made the pictures big to ensure high quality for most uses. If you don't know how to resize a picture, click here for instructions on how to do it on a PC. (Since I don't have access to a Mac, I'm afraid I can't offer corresponding Macintosh instructions.) If you prefer, you can use your favorite FTP software to download this clip art. Me'ira, also known as JOYFUL DANCER, created this collection of clip art when it became obvious that no one else seemed to be distributing any that was appropriate for use in ME dance newsletters. They are designed to reproduce well at small sizes, and are handy for filing those odd spaces you seem to end up with when editing a newsletter. Me'ira has been dancing since about 1987. She has studied various middle eastern dance styles, gypsy fusion, Persian, and Central Asian. She has performed at the Denver Natural History Museum, and given lecture demos for dance classes at Colorado State University. Me'ira is the author a booklet on the history of the dance which was published by the Society for Creative Anachronism. She is currently organizing a new tribal belly dance troupe called NOUVEAU NOMADS with co-director Nancy Montgomery (Nazmiye). |
If you would like to contact her, Me'ira's e-mail address is kharding@lamar.ColoState.EDU. |
