Using Clear Straps Under a Belly Dance Costume

This dance tip covers how to fasten clear bra straps into place behind a costume strap without ruining them. An example of when you might want to do this would be when you want to keep the clear straps of your convertible bra hidden underneath a dress or other top. Do not put a safety pin through clear bra straps. It will damage them. Instead: Weave a safety pin in tiny stitches through the costume fabric where you need the clear strap to stay. Place the clear strap inside the safety pin. Close the safety pin without piercing the strap. The strap rides inside the safety pin and stays in alignment.
