About Mohamed HamakiBorn in 1975, Mohamed Hamaki is an Egyptian singer, and he graduated from the Faculty of Music Education, Helwan University. He made his singing debut in 1997 when he performed one song in a compilation album that also featured Mohamed Mounir, Hamid al-Shairi, and Hanan. He continued with releasing some solo singles in the years that followed. His first solo album was Khalina Neish, released in 2003, and he has released a total of eight albums up through 2019. Hamaki was one of the first Egyptian artists to be part of the panel on the Arabic edition of The Voice. He has won numerous awards, including the MTV European World Music Award in 2010 for Best Artist in the Middle East and the International Pama Award in 2016 for Best Singer in the Middle East. |
