Ad for the Victoria Mousa Theater Show
Sunday, October 31, 1926
Translated by Priscilla Adum

Introduction
This is a translation of the advertisement that was used to promote a show by the Victoria Mousa Troupe in the rooftop theater above El Bosphore Casino. The ad appeared on page 5 of Al Ahram newspaper on October 31, 1926. This was 10 years before Imtithal Fawzy was brutally murdered on that very stage.
ABOUT THE PHOTO: The theater where this show occurred was at Ramses Square, which is where the modern-day Cairo train station stands. At the time of this show, the site did not yet have the statue of Ramses that this photo shows.
