Spring came again, unparalleled spring.

I saw you, who were my love, again.
Garmir eyir hakel, varti bes varnam |
You were dressed in red, fiery like a rose. |
Djeyrani bes sarerov yegar ou antzar
Beautiful one, you came and went through the mountains,
Meg parev eyir dalis, ayn el moratzar |
you didn't give me even one greeting. |
Djeyrani bes sarerov yegar ou antzar
Beautiful one, you came and went through the mountains,
Meg parev eyir dalis, ayn el moratzar |
you didn't give me even one greeting. |
Toukh mazert eyir prel yar ko tigounkin
You had curly hair on your back,
Al jbidn er shoghoum yar ko shouterin
and a smile shone on your lips.
Yerpemn zour degh ptchoum, seruh shourterin |
Sometimes it passes in vain, love on the lips. |

Ashkharhi metch toun siroun, ov e kez jbdoum
You are beautiful, the world smiles at you.
Indz arel es tadargoun, varmounkov hazar
You made me empty, a thousand things you did.
I'm crying, you're laughing, and you don't notice me. |
