Introduction

In 1950, Beba Ezz El Din purchased the Casino Opera from Badia Masabni, finally achieving her dream of owning a casino just like Badia's. On October 16, 1950, the below advertisement appeared in Al Ahram promoting the lineup of entertainment for the first season. Sadly, in less than four months Beba would be dead from a car accident.
