Introduction

This advertisement which appeared March 30, 1936 promoted the premiere of Badia Masabni's new film, Malikat al Masareh (Queen of Theater Shows). Unfortunately, the film did not do well. It almost caused Badia to go bankrupt, because she had invested much of her own money in producing it.
